The Sustainable Healthcare and Climate Health Conference Aotearoa is a two-day conference in 2020, open to anyone interested in ensuring New Zealand moves ahead with urgency to a low emission and equitable healthcare sector. The programme includes presentations, discussions, and opportunities to connect on sustainable healthcare and climate change and health.
The conference will focus on how sustainable healthcare can bring wide co-benefits to health, health equity, and well-being. Topics will range from mitigation to adaptation and from risk to opportunities and innovation.
Delegates will include clinicians, nurses, doctors, policymakers, researchers, architects, consultants, sustainability champions, operational managers, suppliers, procurement agencies, board members, and students – who want to create a healthy planet with healthy people.
Hear from national and international experts, stakeholders from across the New Zealand health and care sector, district health boards, and the research sector.
