Sustainable Healthcare Aotearoa SHA

OraTaiao works closely with Sustainable Healthcare Aotearoa (formerly the Sustainable Health Sector National Network). 

Sustainable Healthcare Aotearoa is a network of health professionals around Aotearoa that are working to embed carbon reduction and sustainability into the NZ health sector. 

The relationship is formalised in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

Climate and Health Alliance CAHA

In April 2022, OraTaiao joined the Climate and Health Alliance, an Australian organisation made up of a coalition of healthcare stakeholders. 

Their stated mission is, "to build a powerful health sector movement for climate action and sustainable healthcare".

The alliance is also aligned with OraTaiao’s focus on equity and justice. For more info see here.
